Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following Definitions apply:

“CKBootcamp” is owned by Craig Kneebone and is registered at 47 Rock Road, Solihull, B92 7LD.

“CKB” means the independent business owned and operated by Craig Kneebone.

“Workouts” means a group fitness or personal training session delivered by CKB.   

“Member” / “You” means an individual with current CKB membership.

“Member App” means the mobile or online application used by CKB and made available to you.

“Website” means the website WWW.CKBOOTCAMP.CO.UK

 

 2. Membership

2.1 Membership

2.1.1 Your membership of CKB will start from the date you make a payment to CKB.

2.1.2 Your membership of CKB will automatically renew on the same terms unless you suspend, cancel and or transfer your membership of CKB in accordance with clause 6.

2.1.3 From time to time we may offer discounted types of membership that may be conditional upon certain conditions being satisfied. For more details see the Website. 

2.1.4 Any discounted membership conditions will be verified by us before any discounted rate is applied to your account.

2.1.5 Some types of membership may not be available at all venues, please contact us directly.

 

2.2 Membership Types

12 Month Contract - £35.99 a month – Paid monthly.
Rolling Contract - £39.99 a month - Paid monthly.

 2.3 Packages

2.3.1 You may purchase class credits for a single class or in packs of 10 classes.

2.3.2 Payment must be made in advance through a credit or debit card to our authorised collection agent, CKBootcamp, or its nominee.

2.3.3 You will become eligible to use your credit(s) once your payment has been processed. This eligibility will continue until all credits have been used or the validity period expires (whichever is sooner). Validity periods are:

2.3.3.1 1 month after the date of purchase for a single class

2.3.3.2 3 months after the date of purchase for a pack of 10 classes

2.3.4 Please be aware than any class credits remaining after the validity period will automatically expire and cannot be used at a later date.

2.3.5 Once purchased the class credits cannot be transferred to another person or refunded.

 

3. CKB classes

3.1 Before attending any class, you must book via the Member App/Member area of the CKB website so that we are aware of the class you would like to attend, and the instructor is aware of your planned attendance.

3.2 If you are unable to attend a class that you have booked, you must cancel as soon as possible via the Member App/Member area. We reserve the right to prevent further bookings being made by those that fail to attend up to three classes without cancelling.  

3.3 Waiting lists will be available on most classes so that, when a space becomes available, those on a waiting list will receive a notification for them to book into the class (this will be on a first come first served basis).

 

4. Class timetables

4.1 We may on occasion need to make changes to our class timetable. Where possible, we will notify you of our intention to do this with as much notice as possible.

 

5. About your membership fees

5.1 Monthly membership fees and advance payments

5.1.1 All members, whether paying annually or monthly, will pay a joining fee, unless including in memberships offer/ package.

5.1.2 Super Value memberships are paid on the date of joining.

5.1.3 For all other memberships, Members will pay a pro rata amount on the date of joining for the period from their date of joining to the end of that calendar month. Thereafter, monthly membership fees are paid in advance on the first working day of the month.

5.1.4 Payment may be made either by debit / credit card or by direct debit, taken from your bank account by our authorised collection agent, CKBootcamp, or its nominee.

 

5.2 Missing membership fee payments

5.2.1 If our authorised collection agent, CK Bootcamp, or its nominee, is unable to collect your membership fee at the first attempt, it is instructed to make three further attempts to collect at weekly intervals. After three unsuccessful attempts we will suspend your membership.

5.2.2 We may refer any missed payments to a third-party debt-collection agency.

5.2.3 If you fall behind with your membership payments for more than 30 days, we may charge you an administration fee of £30 plus vat.

 

5.3 Fee changes

5.3.1 We review our membership fees from time to time. We will give you at least one calendar month’s written notice of any such changes to your membership fees and you have the right to cancel your membership of CKB within 14 days or receipt of our notice by providing written notice to us if the new terms are not agreeable.

 

6. Suspending, cancelling or transferring your membership

 6.1 Suspending your membership

 6.1.1 As a benefit to membership, you can suspend your membership in the event of prolonged absence such as serious illness or injury. This benefit is for full calendar months only and available for a minimum of one month and up to a maximum period of six calendar months.

6.1.2 Suspension may be activated from the start of your next payment date, by giving at least seven days’ notice before that date. Notice is required to be provided in writing.

6.1.3 For notices received less than seven days before your next payment date, membership will be suspended on the same date of the following month.

6.1.4 If you have a medical condition which prevents you from training temporarily, we may allow an extended suspension period. Medical suspension periods can be for a maximum of twelve months. We will require proof of your medical condition, such as a doctor’s certificate. We will suspend your membership upon receipt of doctor's certificate or other proof from the next available payment date.

6.1.5 When suspending your membership, you will need to supply a re-start date. Your membership fee payments will automatically commence on the re-start date. You are responsible for ensuring that we have received written notice of both your intention to suspend your membership and your proposed  re-start date.

 

6.2 How to cancel your membership

6.2.1 Should you wish to cancel your monthly membership you are required to notify us in writing.

6.2.1 You must give us notice to cancel your membership of CKB in line with the membership type you have chosen. For instance, if you have chosen a ‘Rolling’ membership you will need to give us seven days’ notice.

6.2.3 Notice takes effect from the 1st of the month following the date that notice is given. 

6.2.4 Notices received after 17.30 will be deemed to have been received on the next working day. You are responsible for ensuring that we have confirmed receipt of your notice.

6.2.5 Cancelling your direct debit does not mean that you have given us notice to end your membership. If you stop paying, but do not give us notice, you are still obligated to pay the fees. You must give us written notice in line with clause 6.2.1.

 

7.Our right to cancel your membership

 7.1 We may cancel your membership immediately if you:

 7.1.1 Breach any of these terms and conditions

7.1.2 Put the health, safety or wellbeing of our members, employees or contractors at risk

7.1.3 Allow other people to use your membership of CKB to attend classes

7.1.4 Use rude or abusive language or behave or threaten to behave in a violent or aggressive way at any of our venues or direct such behaviour towards any of our staff (including via social media)

 

8. Your responsibility for your possessions

 8.1 You bring all personal possessions to the venue at your own risk. We do not accept legal responsibility for any possessions you lose or that are damaged or stolen, including any possessions stolen from our vans or any other vehicle operated by one of our instructors.

 

 9. Accidents and injuries

 9.1 If you have an accident or injure yourself at one of our classes, you must report this to the instructor straight away.

9.2 You must pay particular attention to any instruction given by one of our instructors related to your health and safety.  

9.3 We do not accept liability for the injury or death of any member that may happen at one of our classes, other than the liability which arises from our negligence or our failure to take reasonable care.

 

10. Personal Training

 10.1 Personal Training terms are covered on the Website.

 

11. Your personal information

11.1 You can find out how you can see the information we hold about you or how to ask us to change this information in our privacy policy which is on the Website.

11.2 You are responsible for informing us about any changes to your personal information.

 

12. Changes to these terms and conditions

 12.1 We may change these terms and conditions. We will give you notice to inform you of any significant changes that may affect your membership of CKB and also publish the updated terms and conditions on the Website.
